The Process Approach per ISO TC176
The ISO 9001 Auditing Practices Group is an informal group of quality management system (QMS) experts, auditors and practitioners, drawn from the ISO Technical Committee 176 Quality Management and Quality Assurance (ISO/TC 176) and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF). One of the topics they tackle is understanding of the process approach. ISO 9001 was built upon the process approach, and all Platinum Registration audits are structured around the processes of the audited organization.

Why Our Auditors Don't Give Advice
Platinum auditors know providing advice is inappropriate and unprofessional. Providing advice assumes the auditor knows better than the members of the organization (who are present every day) what is best for the organization. It also distracts the auditor from their prime objective - collecting evidence of conformity to the selected management system standard.
